We love this mat and actually want to order more tiles to make it bigger. It's not as soft or cushy as the shag rug we had in the nursery before, so a little rougher when my baby falls, but much easier to clean! The printed pattern on the surface is a little shiny/slick, so while my baby has been learning to crawl we need to take his socks off to give him more traction! I love that it's expandable and flexible so that we can use it as a bigger or smaller size, but the edge patterns don't quite perfectly match up -- ordering a big mat means that you just get two packages of small mats, so there are edge-pieces of the pattern right in the middle of the room! Will drive anyone with OCD tendencies crazy. It's annoying to me but I doubt many other people notice when they come over.
Love that this product matches the decor in our living room and that it looks like one piece instead of different foam pieces put together. It's also really easy to clean. Only slight downside is that it's a little hard and our baby just started pulling herself up and falls sometimes hitting her head. She doesn't cry though so we would still highly recommend this product.
I am extremely chemically sensitive, to a point where I can't take Lyfts with air fresheners and have to let new furniture and desk standing-mats off-gas for a month, outside, before bringing them into the office. It still concerns me to use such items, even when their toxic smells have dissipated. I am also a speech therapist who works with kiddos with a variety of needs who often times are chemically sensitive. We spend a lot of time sitting on the ground. It's been amazing to find a play mat that you can open and set-up same day without any scent whatsoever. In addition, parents and families frequently comment on the beautiful design and how they can't believe it's a puzzle play mat because they can't see the seams. I'm so thankful for companies creating American products by European health standards. Thanks again and please continue to create new and beautiful designs!
Beautiful, very easy to put together and start using right away. Visitors are surprised to learn that it’s not a real rug! It’s a bit slippery for my daughter who is just learning to crawl and stand but she’s adjusting quickly. Would highly recommend!!!
Love this product. We don’t have space for a separate play room, so little one plays in our living room. We needed something easy to clean that she could safely crawl around on, but that didn’t turn our main entertaining space into romper room, and this fit the bill! Assembling the pattern was not easy, and to be honest we still have a few spots where it doesn’t line up perfectly, but the pattern is irregular enough that no one notices the mismatches unless one of us points it out. (Also I probably could fix it with enough time and effort, but after about an hour I got tired of trying and decided to accept the result I had.)
