  • Wipe clean foam - is easy to care for and cuts down your laundry pile.

We take your child’s safety very seriously. You can read more about our product safety info here.

Care Instructions

Designed for easy care - so you can spend less time cleaning up and more time enjoying life.

  • Uninterrupted play - unlike fabric alternatives or foam mats filled with nooks and crannies, there’s no need to launder these play mats. Instead, wipe away any spills with mild soap and water, dry with a cloth and bam! Play can continue.
  • Sturdy design - while Roam Free play mats can handle normal foot traffic, beware! High heels or sharp objects such as pet claws may puncture the foam.

If you don't own one of these, you should

I never write reviews...ever, but I felt like I would be amiss if I didn't write one now.

This was our second mat purchase and we love them. If I could be a brand ambassador to shout this from the rooftop, I would. These mats are everything. Not only are they durable but they are stylish and easy.

We bought our first one before our daughter was born to put in her room. We started noticing as she's been getting older, that the mat was the only thing that she would play and crawl on. We realized that we had to get one for our Living Room so that she could play and crawl in there. Not initially wanting to spend a chunk of change on another mat, we decided to go and buy one from Target. Unfortunately, once you have one of these mats, you can never go to another one. The rocky texture, the pop-out shapes, and the bright colors are rough. The Target mat lasted in our house for maybe two weeks before we decided that we had to purchase another Little Nomad. It looks beautiful in our Living Room and our daughter is the happiest she's ever been.

Great work, Little Nomad! The design, the durability, the easiness of cleaning and assembly, you nailed it all.

Value not with the price, no good return policy

Bought this mat but after receiving and laying out, realized there is a lot going on with the pattern in black and white. It hurts to look at and is definitely too much for a baby to look at while playing on. Also, it’s not
that soft or cushioned if a baby hits their head. I tried hitting my head lightly and it hurt more than just being on our rug or another cheaper playmat that we have. Another issue I have is specifically for the 6x8. They only have instructions for the smallest size which isn’t helpful for the 6x8. After putting together I realized that it’s the smaller size 6 tiles that you get plus 3 more. The 3 additional tiles don’t match and the pattern is off. It looks silly in the Boho style bc there is line that shows the mismatch. It’s not an exact print. All of these issues makes it way too expensive for what it is. Since I only realized all of this after opening, they charge a restocking fee, you have to return it in the original box which I no longer have, and pay/figure out return shipping on your own. I just got a canned email in return to my emailed question. I’ve worked in customer service and you can make a canned email response atleast seem friendly even if it’s canned. Not helpful, don’t recommend.

Hello Monika, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review so we can better assist our customers. Have you seen our assembly video? https://www.little-nomad.com/pages/adilah-assembly If you create two, 4x6 play mats, you can remove a few edges to bring them together and create a 6x8. We want you to be satisfied with your order and can assist with a return shipping label if that is more convenient for you. Any box can be used for a return we just suggest the original as that's usually what most customers have on hand. As stated in our policy guide there is a return shipping and re-stocking fee as we do not re-sell opened or returned items. I apologize for the inconvenience. Our customer service team is here to assist. Kindest Regards, The Little Nomad Team

So far so good!

I've only been using this mat for about a week, but so far, i love it! I only wish the edges were sloped so they dont get tripped on. If they had a non skid backing, that would also be great because it does move a lot. Considering the price, I think those aren't too outrageous of upgrades :) additionally, it'd be great if there were basic assembly instructions WITH the mats instead of having to look it up while trying to figure it out (with a 7 month old crying/whining lol). I spent so much time, in different segments, trying to do it myself. I have two mats in different patterns and they both are so classy and beautiful. I'm sure they will be around for a long time!

Perfect for Reflux Babes!

I cannot say enough good things about this mat! We have a play area for my 5 month old and we would do tummy time on a fabric activity mat. She spits up ALL THE TIME. So I was washing it every single night. I was going to get some random play mat but my house is monochromatic and none of them fit the style. I found these and it looks SO GOOD in our house! People think it's a rug all the time. Best part is every time my babe spits up, I just wipe it up and do a swiffer wet jet on it at the end of the day!

Beautiful and Practical!

Absolutely love this play mat. It could not be more perfect for my kids’ (3 and 8 months) room. It’s already been spit up on and peed on several times and it’s SO EASY to clean! We love it. It’s comfy to sit and play on, lay on for diaper changes, fall on without getting hurt (8 month old learning to crawl), and it is gorgeous! I really don’t think there’s anything that can compare. Thanks Little Nomad!
